Patented Brewing Technology with Aroma Boost
JURA has perfected the complete brewing process for short specialty coffees from 0.5 oz to 2.7 oz. That's why the ENA Micro 90 prepares them to the same standard you would expect in a coffee bar. The Aroma G3 grinder, now twice as fast, ensures that the coffee is optimally ground to preserve the full aroma. The variable brewing unit holds 6 to 10 grams of ground coffee and ensures the ideal brewing conditions at all times. The Pulse Extraction Process (P.E.P. ©) optimizes the extraction time by pulsing the hot water through the ground coffee at short intervals. This process allows the flavors of the coffee to fully develop. The coffee strength is highly variable to suit individual tastes.
Integrated Conical Burr Grinder
The right grinder is crucial to the quality of a cup of coffee. This is guaranteed by a powerful five-level, conical grinder with grinding burrs made of commercial-grade hardened steel. Just the right amount of coffee beans are ground precisely based on your choice of coffee strength. A pre-ground coffee bypass funnel is available for alternate coffees such as decaf.
Stainless Steel Water Heating System
At the heart of the ENA Micro 90 is a stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boiler. Unlike a traditional boiler, thermoblocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient water usage limited only to what you brew. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. Stainless steel preserves the clean flavor of filtered water and also resists limescale buildup for longer life.
Energy Saving Technology
With the Energy Save Mode (E.S.M.), the ENA Micro 90 One Touch's energy-saving potential can be adjusted entirely to your habits and you can save up to 40 percent of the energy normally required. In addition, the Zero Energy Switch disconnects power entirely, so no residual electricity is consumed while the ENA Micro 90 is off.
Advanced Water Filtration
The Clearyl ENA filtration system prevents water impurities from entering sensitive areas of the machine, causing damage, and altering the taste of the coffee produced. This technology if from Jura's Integrated Pure Water System (I.P.W.S. ©). A change filter message will be displayed when it is time to replace the cartridge (about every 6-10 weeks or 14 gallons). The ENA Micro 90 One Touch will also prompt you when it is time to clean the machine, so proper maintenance is a breeze.
